Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 9 years of experience; or masters degree with 7 years; equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be accepted
- Proficient in Windows Active Directory deployment, management, and administration
- Experience in design, integration, and deployment of VMware and vSphere
- Familiarity with VMware deployment, configuration, and maintenance
- Skilled in collaborating with stakeholders to document requirements
- In-depth understanding of NetApp Storage concepts and management tools
- Strong knowledge of storage protocols and technologies, including CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and Fiber Channel
- Experience in deploying and managing NetApp Storage - CDOT and 7-Mode
- Solid grasp of infrastructure stack components: compute, virtualization, and networks
- Excellent customer communication and documentation abilities
- Proficient in infrastructure design, deployment, and disaster recovery testing
- Positive, collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a flexible approach
Responsibilities
- Fulfill duties as part of the Identity Management Office (IMO)
- Implement VMware solutions for virtualization, networking, and storage architecture
- Provide engineering support for enterprise solutions utilizing virtual server hosting and backup solutions
- Manage the provisioning of Virtual Machines and necessary patches
- Maintain updated documentation and user guides as required
- Design, test, and deploy VMware vSphere and vCenters hosting environments
- Design, test, and deploy Microsoft Active Directory integrations for Just-in-time administration
- Offer technical assistance to end users and management
- Deploy and administer NetApp Storage - ONTAP, addressing performance issues and upgrades
- Utilize storage management tools for effective administration and oversight
Description
We are seeking to fill a key position supporting the Department of State (DOS) under the Vanguard 2.2.1 contract in Springfield, VA. In this full-time role, you will work primarily in-office, focusing on the development and maintenance of Virtualization solutions with technologies such as VMware, NetAPP Storage, and Microsoft Windows Active Directory. Our team emphasizes innovative solutions and ensures alignment with the Zero Trust Architecture framework, while enjoying a collaborative work environment.
