Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical field. - Over 5 years of experience in design, manufacturing, or testing and evaluating components, systems, or products. - Comprehensive understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts, plus familiarity with related areas such as manufacturing and quality assurance. - Ability to propose innovative solutions and practical answers to complex technical issues. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, particularly in conveying technical results to varied audiences. - Experience collaborating with technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop solutions and recommendations. - Capability of managing projects autonomously while adhering to timelines and deliverables. - Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement testing methodologies to assess munitions and associated systems for acceptance and performance validation. - Organize, coordinate, and arrange schedules, activities, and equipment necessary for testing to meet all customer specifications. - Analyze specifications and establish procedures and acceptance criteria for systems, subsystems, equipment, and components. - Record any issues encountered during testing operations and present actionable suggestions for corrective actions. - Conduct technical reviews of reports, correspondence, and technical documentation such as ADLs, PDPs, RFVs, ECPs, CDRLs, and manuals. - Support the customer and contractor team in preparing acquisition documents, including statements of work (SOW), specifications, market survey results, and preliminary synopses. - Ensure all documentation complies with relevant industry, government, and DoD standards. - Represent SAIC and collaborate with government stakeholders and internal teams to deliver effective technical solutions. - Independently devise strategies to tackle technical challenges while aligning with organizational objectives. - Enhance the effectiveness of specific programs and projects by proposing creative yet feasible solutions to engineering problems. - Review feedback from testing to pinpoint areas for improvement in testing equipment, procedures, and manufacturing processes. - Suggest updates to testing requirements and parameters to satisfy emerging needs.
