Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Bachelors degree with 9+ years of experience in DoD acquisitions or program management; Masters degree with 7+ years; or PhD/JD with 4+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills tailored for decision-makers; proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Work location at the Pentagon with potential for limited telecommuting
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic counsel to the Program Element Monitor (PEM) and Senior Space Force Leadership on program specifics, acquisition strategies, contracting, and budgeting
- Maintain understanding of systems aiding U.S. government space missions and tasks that require acquisition or sustainment
- Assist in the evaluation, vetting, and endorsement of acquisition documents such as Acquisition Strategy Documents (ASD), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Statements of Work (SOW)
- Develop annual budget materials, including RDT&E and Procurement budget justification documents, OSD hearing briefings, and congressional staffer briefs
- Contribute to the creation and presentation of annual budget materials for key stakeholders and coordinate responses to inquiries for records/media
- Offer backup support in other mission areas as needed
- Effectively assist customers with Pentagon staff officer expertise and proficiency
- Recommend priority tasks, assess feasibility, and lead on government tasks as assigned
- Respond promptly to all requests and tasks
