Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and nine (9) years of relevant experience; Masters and seven (7) years; PhD or JD and four (4) years of experience. Relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Active Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions.
- Strong understanding of ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI/ML services.
- Expertise in data modeling, development of data pipelines, and deployment of ML models in production settings.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including MLOps, and CI/CD processes for AI/ML projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, skilled in handling complex issues requiring detailed evaluation of various factors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a history of engaging with stakeholders and mentoring teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish AI/ML project objectives, success metrics, and development timelines that align with mission priorities.
- Guide the design and development of sophisticated AI/ML models and algorithms, ensuring they effectively address intricate mission challenges and provide demonstrable value.
- Convert mission and business challenges into AI/ML opportunities, effectively communicating benefits, risks, and trade-offs to non-technical audiences.
- Keep abreast of emerging AI/ML technologies, introducing best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance the customers technical capabilities.
- Offer mentorship and technical guidance to junior AI/ML practitioners, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous growth.
- Collaborate closely with customer and vendor data engineers and architects to ensure data pipelines, infrastructure, and computing environments are optimized for model development and deployment.
- Assist vendor teams in thorough model validation and performance testing, ensuring AI/ML solutions meet mission accuracy, reliability, and robustness standards.
