Requirements
Must:
- Experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support is preferred
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, basic networking, and commonly used business software
- Previous use of IT ticketing systems is advantageous
- Strong skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and work autonomously
- Openness to participating in an on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Deliver first-line technical assistance to users in corporate and store locations via phone, email, remote access, and face-to-face
- Track, oversee, and resolve support requests using the IT Operations ticketing system
- Diagnose hardware, software, and basic network problems
- Install, configure, and upkeep desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and other IT devices
- Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, device configuration, and access to systems
- Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, such as user manuals and system configurations
- Monitor and keep records of IT inventory and asset management
- Organize and prioritize daily responsibilities based on incoming service requests
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and texts in a timely and professional manner during regular hours and when on-call
- Conduct preventative maintenance on corporate computers and peripheral devices
- Install software updates and assist with the deployment of new systems
- Test new hardware, software, and systems before full deployment
- Identify and report recurring issues and trends to IT management
- Adhere to security protocols and company policies to safeguard data and systems
