Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in registration, scheduling, or prior authorization
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Capability to work independently with little supervision
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- General knowledge of Basic Computer Skills
Responsibilities
- Support multiple traditional Pre-Access functions in line with RRHS policies
- Manage the referral and prior authorization process
- Schedule patients for both elective and urgent appointments
- Pre-register patients by gathering their demographic and insurance information for outpatient and inpatient services
- Inform patients about essential visit details such as preparation instructions and check-in times
- Prioritize patient requirements while optimizing hospital resources and insurance benefits for both patients and the organization
Description
We are seeking a Pre-Access Representative I to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our patients receive timely and efficient care. You will be responsible for supporting various Pre-Access functions, focusing on patient needs while adhering to our policies and procedures. We offer a competitive pay range of $19.97 to $29.09 depending on experience, along with a supportive work environment that values your contributions.
