Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Python (Flask or FastAPI) for backend development
- Extensive experience with AWS services, including RDS, S3, App Runner or ECS, VPC, IAM, and Secrets Manager
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
- Implementation experience with OAuth2/SSO, not just usage of libraries
- Ability to containerize Python applications using Docker for cloud deployment
- Familiarity with React for reviewing and adjusting frontend deployment processes
- Proficient in CI/CD practices, preferably using GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Familiarity with Canadian data residency regulations is a plus
- Understanding of LLM/AI API integration, especially with providers like Anthropic or OpenAI, is preferred
- Experience with third-party SaaS API integrations, such as Clio or Salesforce, is beneficial
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform is a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up AWS infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Canadian data residency
- Configure VPC with private subnets and deploy RDS PostgreSQL databases
- Implement S3 for secure document storage with encryption and lifecycle policies
- Manage the Flask API container deployment via App Runner or ECS Fargate
- Utilize CloudFront for serving a static React frontend
- Integrate Clio OAuth2 for user authentication and manage JWT sessions
- Maintain user-level access control and authorization within the database
- Establish CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
- Conduct security audits and performance reviews of existing systems
- Prepare documentation for infrastructure maintenance and disaster recovery plans
