Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Westfield

- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing phases - Manage the repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks, including defining scenarios for automation - Evaluate defects to identify trends and improvement opportunities in test cycles - Spot areas for potential automation within the testing process - Lead the execution of automated testing scripts at all stages of the QA process - Conduct test cases utilizing both manual and automated testing methods, interpret results, and provide feedback to the development team through well-documented defects - Engage in deployment and validate post-production processes - Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify project requirements and acceptance criteria - Spearhead continuous improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members by providing training and support - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Work alongside end users for the User Acceptance Testing phase - Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code versions and data - Offer end-user guidance and support for application software - Create functional documentation such as training guides for users - Provide operational and technical assistance to internal stakeholders - Assist in training users on new software systems - Provide technical insights during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review and analyze enhancements for compatibility and compliance with operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to develop test cases and address issues - Offer on-call support as needed by the manager - May require cross-training and additional responsibilities - Utilize general office equipment as necessary - Effectively operate a keyboard to input information - Maintain a seated or standing position for extended periods - Communicate clearly and effectively with others both in-person and via electronic devices
