Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Toledo

- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing cycles including functional and end-to-end tests - Maintain a repository of regression tests for the designated application stacks while defining scenarios for automation - Analyze defect trends and identify opportunities for improving test cycles - Spot areas where automation could enhance the process - Execute automated scripts at all stages of the QA process - Carry out test cases, utilizing both manual and automated testing, while interpreting results and providing clear feedback to the development team - Take part in deployment activities and post-production validation - Collaborate with internal and external teams to define requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead continuous enhancements of testing methodologies, processes, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members, offering training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Work alongside end users during the execution of User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code versioning and data management - Offer end user support and guidance for application software - Create functional documents, such as training instructions for end users - Provide functional and technical support to internal customers - Assist in training end users on software systems - Supply technical assistance during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and ensure adherence to guidelines - Compile and present status reports to internal stakeholders - Partner with internal teams to develop test cases and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as required by management - May involve cross-training and taking on additional duties - Use standard office equipment and efficiently operate a keyboard for information entry - Sit, stand, or walk for extended durations - Effectively communicate with others both in-person and via electronic means
