Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Shumway

- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test case scenarios for various testing phases - Maintain a library of regression tests for designated application stacks, including automation scenario definitions - Analyze defects to identify trends and enhancement opportunities for testing cycles - Spot and propose areas for process automation - Facilitate the execution of automated testing scripts across all QA levels - Carry out test case execution, using both manual and automated testing methods, and deliver clear feedback to the development team - Engage in deployment and verify functionality post-production - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, methodologies, and technology - Guide and mentor junior QA team members, offering training and support - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Engage with end users during User Acceptance Testing execution - Manage Rural Kings application QA/Dev environments, ensuring code version and data accuracy - Support end users with guidance on application software - Generate functional documents such as user training manuals - Offer functional and technical assistance to internal customers - Provide training to end users on software systems - Deliver technical support during the design, development, and testing of applications - Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and compliance with operational guidelines - Create and present status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with other teams to create test cases, document, identify, and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as requested by management - May perform a variety of other duties as needed - Use general office equipment efficiently - Regularly operate a keyboard to input information - Required to be seated, standing, or walking for extended periods - Engage in effective verbal communication with others, both in person and online
