Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Redmon

- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing cycles - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks and outline scenarios for automation - Analyze defect trends and identify areas for improvement in testing cycles - Seek opportunities for automation within testing processes - Execute automated scripts throughout all levels of quality assurance - perform manual testing, analyze results, and provide feedback to the development team through well-documented defects - Engage in deployment and validate post-production processes - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to define requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive continuous enhancement of testing methods, processes, and technologies - Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end users during User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code versioning and data management - Offer support and guidance to end users on application software - Develop functional documents, including training instructions for end users - Provide functional and technical assistance to internal stakeholders - Help train end users on software systems - Offer technical support during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operating guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to create test cases and effectively document and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as per managerial instructions - Willingness to undergo cross-training and perform additional tasks as needed - Use standard office equipment and frequently operate a keyboard for data entry - Maintain standing, sitting, or walking positions for extended periods - Effectively communicate verbally with colleagues both in person and through electronic devices
