Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Oakland

- Develop, implement, and sustain detailed test plans, scripts, and test cases for functional and integration testing. - Maintain a library of regression tests for assigned application stack and define scenarios for automation. - Analyze defects to identify trends and areas for enhancing test cycles. - Discover opportunities for automation within the testing process. - Execute automated scripts throughout all levels of the QA workflow. - Conduct both manual and automated tests, interpret results, and communicate findings to the development team via clearly articulated defects. - Participate in the deployment process and validate post-production performance. - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria. - Drive continual enhancements of testing processes, methodologies, and technologies. - Mentor junior QA team members, furnishing training and direction. - Coordinate with external development and testing teams. - Collaborate with end users for User Acceptance Testing execution. - Manage the Rural King application QA and development environments, including code versions and data. - Provide user guidance and support for application software. - Create functional documentation, including training materials for end users. - Support internal customers with functional and technical assistance. - Assist in training end users on software systems. - Offer technical support during application design, development, and testing phases. - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Evaluate and review enhancements for compatibility, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines. - Prepare and present status updates to internal stakeholders. - Collaborate with teams to create test cases, documenting and resolving issues. - Be available for on-call support per management direction. - May need to cross-train and perform additional tasks as required. - Utilize standard office equipment. - Frequently use a keyboard for data entry. - Remain seated or standing for extended periods. - Communicate effectively with others both in-person and through electronic means.
