Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Montrose

- Develop, execute, and update detailed test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing cycles - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks and define scenarios for automation - Analyze defects for trends to enhance test cycles - Identify opportunities for automation within processes - Oversee the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA process - Carry out test cases using both manual and automated methods, interpret outcomes, and provide clear defect feedback to the development team - Engage in deployment activities and post-production validation - Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead ongoing improvements in testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members with training and guidance - Coordinate efforts with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end users for User Acceptance Testing execution - Manage the Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code versioning and data - Provide guidance and support for end users regarding application software - Create functional documentation such as training instructions for end users - Offer functional and technical assistance to internal customers - Assist in training end users on software systems - Deliver technical support during application design, development, and testing phases - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Analyze enhancements for compatibility and compliance with operational guidelines - Compile and present status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to formulate test cases and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as directed by management - Potentially cross-train and perform additional duties - Utilize general office equipment as required - Frequently operate a keyboard to input information - Sustain seated or standing positions for extended periods - Communicate effectively, both in-person and via electronic devices
