Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Martinsville

- Develop, implement, and uphold comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned applications, including defining automation scenarios - Analyze defect data for identifying trends and opportunities to enhance testing efficiency - Spot opportunities for automation within testing processes - Lead the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA procedures - Execute test cases using both manual and automated testing approaches, interpreting results, and delivering feedback to the development team through precise defect documentation - Involve in deployment and validate post-production processes - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to refine requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive ongoing improvements in testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members through training and guidance - Coordinate with external testing and development teams - Work with end users during User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including version control and data management - Offer end-user support and guidance for application software - Create operational documents, such as training guides for users - Provide functional and technical support to internal teams - Assist in training end users on software systems - Offer technical support during the design, development, and testing of applications - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Assess and review enhancements for operational compatibility and adherence to guidelines - Prepare and present status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to devise test cases and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as instructed by management - May need to cross-train and handle additional responsibilities as required - Utilize general office equipment and maintain proficiency with keyboard data entry - Sustain a seated or standing position for extended periods - Communicate effectively with others both in-person and electronically
