- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing cycles including functional and end-to-end testing - Maintain a repository of regression tests for specific application stacks, including defining automation scenarios - Analyze defects for patterns and opportunities to improve testing cycles - Identify potential automation opportunities in testing processes - Oversee the execution of automated scripts across all levels of the QA process - Conduct test cases using both manual and automated methods, interpreting the results and providing straightforward feedback to the development team - Participate in deployment processes and post-production validation - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to clarify testing requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members by providing training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Partner with end users to carry out User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code versioning and data management - Provide end user guidance and support for application software - Create functional documentation like training instructions for end users - Offer functional and technical support to internal stakeholders - Assist with training end users on various software systems - Provide technical assistance during application design, development, and testing phases - Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review and analyze enhancements for compatibility with established operating guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal teams - Collaborate with internal teams to develop test cases, document, and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as directed by management - May be required to cross-train and perform additional tasks - Utilize general office equipment as needed - Regularly operate a keyboard for data entry - Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods - Communicate verbally and effectively with others in person and through electronic devices
