Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years in application support or an equivalent mix of education and experience
- At least 3 years of experience with ERP, WMS, or MDM systems
- Familiarity with Oracle XStore is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
- Proactive approach to tasks
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Capability to engage in online applicant and new hire onboarding processes remotely
- Proficiency in completing computer-based training
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing cycles
- Manage a repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks, including defining scenarios for automation
- Analyze defects to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing test cycles
- Spot areas where automation can be integrated into processes
- Drive the execution of automated scripts across all levels of the QA process
- Conduct test cases using both manual and automated methods, interpreting results, and documenting feedback for the development team
- Involve in deployment and post-production validation activities
- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
- Lead efforts for continuous enhancement of testing practices, methodologies, and technologies
- Mentor junior QA team members and provide training assistance
- Coordinate activities with external development and testing teams
- Collaborate with end users for the execution of User Acceptance Testing
- Manage the Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code versioning and data upkeep
- Offer end-user guidance and support related to application software
- Develop functional documents, such as user training instructions
- Provide functional and technical support to internal clients
- Assist in training end users on software systems
- Offer technical aid during application design, development, and testing phases
- Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operational guidelines
- Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop test cases, document issues, and resolve them
- Provide on-call support as needed by the manager
- May be required to cross-train and undertake additional duties
- Utilize standard office equipment for daily tasks
- Frequently use a keyboard for data entry
- Maintain a sitting, standing, or walking position for extended periods
- Communicate effectively with others both in person and through electronic devices
