Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in application support
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in applications support
- 3 years experience with ERP, WMS, MDM systems
- Familiarity with Oracle XStore is advantageous
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Proactive approach
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Capability to engage in online applicant and new hire onboarding processes remotely
- Proficiency in completing computer-based training
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds periodically
- Capacity to maintain a seated or standing position for extended periods
- Physical ability to navigate and access all facilities
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and uphold detailed test plans, scripts, and cases for functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing cycles
- Maintain a repository of regression tests and define scenarios for automation
- Analyze defects to identify trends and areas for improvement in testing cycles
- Identify opportunities for automation within testing processes
- Oversee the execution of automated scripts across all QA processes
- Conduct tests using both manual methods and automated suites, interpret results, and provide constructive feedback to the development team
- Engage in deployment and post-production validation
- Work with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
- Drive continuous improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and technologies
- Mentor junior QA team members and provide essential training
- Coordinate with external development and testing teams
- Collaborate with end users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code version control and data oversight
- Offer guidance and support to end users regarding application software
- Generate functional documents, such as training instructions, for end users
- Provide both functional and technical support to internal customers
- Assist in training end users on software systems
- Deliver technical assistance during the design, development, and testing phases of applications
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Review enhancements for compatibility and alignment with operational guidelines
- Prepare and present status reports to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with teams to create test cases and resolve identified issues
- Provide on-call support as instructed by management
- Participate in cross-training and perform additional duties as needed
- Effectively use general office equipment and software
- Communicate verbally with others, both in person and via electronic devices
