Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Cowden

- Plan, design, and execute detailed test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles - Maintain a repository of regression tests for specific application stacks, including defining automation scenarios - Analyze trends and opportunities for improvement in defect management - Identify chances for automation within testing processes - Oversee the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA lifecycle - Conduct test cases using both manual techniques and automated tools, provide comprehensive feedback to the development team regarding defects - Engage in deployment activities and perform validation post-production - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to clarify testing requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive the ongoing enhancement of testing processes, methods, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members, offering training and assistance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Facilitate User Acceptance Testing collaborations with end users - Manage QA and Development environments, including code version control and data oversight - Offer guidance and support to end users regarding application software - Develop functional documentation, including training materials for end users - Assist internal customers with functional and technical support - Provide training to end users on software applications - Offer technical support throughout the design, development, and testing stages of applications - Involve oneself in every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Evaluate enhancements for compatibility, ensuring adherence to operational standards - Create and present status reports for internal stakeholders - Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop test cases and troubleshoot identified issues - Be available for on-call support as directed by management - Flexibility to cross-train and undertake additional responsibilities - Utilize standard office equipment as needed - Regularly operate a keyboard to input data - Maintain the ability to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods - Effectively communicate verbally with colleagues both in-person and via electronic means
