Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Champaign

- Plan and execute functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing - Oversee the management of Development and Testing environments - Ensure data and application integrity and availability within information systems - Collaborate with internal and external groups to complete testing - Develop and maintain detailed test plans, scripts, and test cases - Keep a repository of regression tests and define automation scenarios - Analyze defect trends to enhance testing cycles - Identify automation opportunities within processes - Drive the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA process - Run and interpret both manual and automated test cases, providing feedback - Partake in deployment and post-production validation - Facilitate communication of requirements and acceptance criteria with teams - Spearhead ongoing improvements in testing methodologies and technologies - Mentor junior QA staff through training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing entities - Collaborate with end users during User Acceptance Testing - Manage Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code and data - Offer user support for application software - Create functional documents such as training materials for users - Assist in training end users on software systems - Provide technical support during application development and testing - Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Assess enhancements for compatibility and compliance with operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Work closely with teams to create test cases, documenting and resolving issues - Provide on-call support as needed - Potentially cross-train for other duties - Utilize standard office equipment effectively - Operate a keyboard for data entry - Be prepared to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods - Communicate verbally with clarity, in person or through electronic means
