Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years in applications support experience
- At least 3 years experience with ERP, WMS, or MDM systems
- Familiarity with Oracle XStore is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- Proficient problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
- Capable of participating remotely in online applicant and new hire onboarding processes
- Able to complete computer-based training activities
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and sustain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for functional and system integration testing
- Manage a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks, including automation scenario definition
- Analyze defects to identify trends and improvement opportunities in testing cycles
- Explore automation possibilities within testing processes
- Oversee the execution of automated testing scripts throughout the QA process
- Perform test cases utilizing both manual methods and automated suites, interpret results, and provide constructive feedback to the development team
- Participate in deployment and validation activities post-production
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify testing requirements and acceptance criteria
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in testing methodologies and technologies
- Mentor junior QA team members by providing training and support
- Coordinate with external development and testing groups
- Collaborate with end users to execute User Acceptance Testing
- Manage application QA/Dev environments, including code versions and data
- Offer guidance and support to end users regarding application software
- Create functional documentation such as training guides for users
- Provide functional and technical assistance to internal stakeholders
- Assist in user training on software systems
- Deliver technical support during application design, development, and testing phases
- Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Evaluate and review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operational standards
- Prepare and communicate status reports for internal stakeholders
- Work with internal teams to draft test cases, document, and resolve issues
- Provide on-call support as directed by management
- May necessitate cross-training for additional responsibilities
- Utilize standard office equipment
- Regularly operate a keyboard for data entry
- Maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations
- Communicate effectively with others in person and through electronic means
