Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Altamont

- Plan and execute various testing cycles including functional, system integration, and end-to-end tests - Design and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases - Keep an organized repository of regression tests for designated application stacks - Analyze defect trends to enhance testing cycles - Identify opportunities for process automation - Execute automated scripts throughout the QA process - Conduct test case executions, combining both manual and automated methods - Engage in deployment and post-production validation - Collaborate with team members to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of testing practices and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members by providing guidance and training - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Partner with end users for User Acceptance Testing execution - Manage application QA/Dev environments, including code versioning and data management - Offer support and guidance for application software to end users - Develop functionally relevant documents such as training instructions - Provide technical support and assistance to internal stakeholders - Assist with end-user training on software systems - Ensure quality adherence during application design and development phases - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Examine and review enhancements for system compatibility - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal clients - Collaborate with internal teams to create and evaluate test cases, documenting and resolving identified issues - Provide on-call support as needed by management - May take on additional duties or cross-train as required - Operate general office equipment as necessary - Frequent use of a keyboard for data entry - Capability to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods - Communicate effectively with others in person and through electronic means
