Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst

- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles, including functional and end-to-end tests - Maintain a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks and outline scenarios for automation - Analyze defect trends to identify improvement opportunities in testing cycles - Seek opportunities for automation enhancements within processes - Lead the execution of automated scripts throughout the quality assurance phases - Carry out test cases utilizing both manual and automated methods, analyze results, and provide constructively written feedback to the development team - Engage in deployment and post-production validation activities - Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify testing requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive ongoing improvements to testing methodologies and technology usage - Mentor junior QA personnel, offering guidance and training - Coordinate with external development and QA teams - Collaborate with end users during User Acceptance Testing - Oversee management of Rural Kings QA/Development environments, including code versions and data - Deliver end-user support for application software - Develop functional documentation like user training materials - Provide functional and technical support to internal stakeholders - Assist with training sessions for end users on various software systems - Offer technical assistance during application design, development, and testing phases - Participate actively in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancement requests for compatibility and adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and communicate status reports to internal stakeholders - Work with internal teams to create test cases and resolve documented issues - Provide on-call support as required by management - Potentially cross-train and perform additional duties as needed - Utilize standard office equipment as necessary - Engage with a keyboard for data entry regularly - Maintain a balance of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods - Communicate effectively in person and through electronic means
