Senior Software Quality Analyst

- Develop, implement, and maintain detailed test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing cycles including functional and end-to-end testing - Manage a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks, including scenario definition for automation - Examine defect trends to identify opportunities for enhancing test cycles - Seek areas where automation can be integrated into the testing process - Oversee the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA workflow - Conduct test case executions, utilizing both manual and automated methods, interpret outcomes, and provide feedback to development teams through well-documented defects - Engage in deployment and post-production validation efforts - Collaborate with teams both within and outside of QA to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Spearhead the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members, offering training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Partner with end users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code versions and data - Offer end user guidance and support for application software - Create functional documents, including training materials for end users - Provide functional and technical support to internal customers - Assist in training end users on software systems - Deliver technical support during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Participate actively in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Evaluate enhancements for compatibility and ensure adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and present status updates to internal stakeholders - Work alongside internal teams to create test cases, and document and resolve issues - Offer on-call support as directed by management - May take on additional duties as necessary
