Senior Software QA Analyst - White Heath

- Design, implement, and uphold comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test scenarios for functional, system integration, and other testing phases - Sustain a repository of regression tests for assigned applications, including defining scenarios for automation - Examine defects for trends and identify opportunities for enhancing testing cycles - Pinpoint potential areas for automation within the processes - Lead the execution of automated scripts at various levels of the QA process - Carry out test cases, using both manual methods and automated suites, interpret results, and deliver feedback to the development team via well-articulated defects - Engage in deployment and validate post-production - Work collaboratively with both internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Spearhead continuous enhancement of testing methodologies and technologies - Guide junior QA team members through training and mentorship - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end-users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Oversee the management of Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code versioning and data management - Provide end-user support and guidance for application software - Generate functional documentation such as training materials for end users - Offer functional and technical assistance to internal stakeholders - Assist in training users on software systems - Provide technical support during the design, development, and testing of applications - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Analyze and assess enhancements for compatibility and compliance with operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to create robust test cases and address issues - Offer on-call support as instructed by management - May require cross-training and performing additional duties - Operate general office equipment as needed. - Frequently use keyboard input for data entry - Spend extended periods sitting, standing, or walking as required - Communicate effectively in person and through electronic means as necessary.
