Senior Software QA Analyst - Watson

- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing cycles - Keep an organized repository for regression tests associated with designated applications, including scenario definitions for automation - Examine defects to identify trends and areas for improvement within testing cycles - Innovate automation opportunities within testing processes - Manage the execution of automated scripts across all aspects of Quality Assurance - Conduct tests using both manual and automated methods, interpret results, and communicate feedback through well-documented defects to the development team - Engage in deployment and post-production evaluations - Collaborate with internal and external parties to clarify requirements and acceptance standards - Champion continuous enhancement of testing methods, processes, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members by offering training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing units - Work alongside end users during User Acceptance Testing phases - Manage Rural Kings QA/Dev environments, including code version control and data management - Advise end users on application software - Develop functional documents, such as user training manuals - Offer functional and technical assistance to internal stakeholders - Train end users on software applications - Provide technical support during application design, development, and testing phases - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Assess and review enhancements for compatibility and compliance with operational standards - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Work closely with internal teams to create test scenarios, document issues, and resolve conflicts - Be available for on-call support as needed by management - May be asked to cross-train and undertake additional tasks - Use standard office equipment as necessary - Regularly utilize a keyboard for data entry - Maintain seated, standing, or walking positions for extended periods - Communicate effectively with others, both in person and electronically
