Senior Software QA Analyst - Villa Grove

- Develop, implement, and uphold comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing phases - Maintain a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks while defining scenarios for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and avenues for enhancing test cycles - Pinpoint opportunities for automation within the testing procedures - Execute automated scripts throughout all stages of the QA process - Conduct test cases using both manual testing and automated frameworks, analyze results, and communicate feedback to the development team via detailed defect reports - Participate in deployment processes and oversee post-production validation - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Spearhead continuous improvements in testing methodologies and tools - Mentor junior QA team members through training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end users during User Acceptance Testing execution - Manage Rural Kings application QA/Dev environments, including version control and data management - Provide guidance and support to end users regarding application software - Generate functional documents, such as user training materials - Offer both functional and technical support to internal clients - Assist in training end users on software systems - Provide technical guidance throughout application design, development, and testing phases - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Evaluate enhancements for compatibility and ensure adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status updates to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to create test cases, document issues, and implement resolutions - Provide on-call support as directed by management - May require cross-training and additional duties as assigned - Utilize general office equipment - Frequently operate a keyboard to enter information - Maintain a seated or standing position for extended periods - Communicate effectively with others, both in-person and through electronic means
