Senior Software QA Analyst - Vermilion

- Design, implement, and oversee detailed test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing cycles - Maintain a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks, including defining scenarios for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and areas for improvement in testing cycles - Spot opportunities for automation in the processes - Oversee the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA process - Carry out test cases using both manual and automated methods, analyze results, and provide feedback to development teams through accurately documented defects - Engage in deployment and post-production validation processes - Work alongside internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Foster continuous enhancement of testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members, offering training and support - Coordinate activities with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end users during User Acceptance Testing execution - Manage Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code versions and data oversight - Offer guidance and support to end users for application software - Craft functional documents such as training materials for end users - Provide technical assistance to internal clients - Facilitate training for end users on software systems - Assist with technical support during application design, development, and testing phases - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Analyze enhancements for compatibility and ensure adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and present status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to develop test cases, document and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as requested by management - May be required to cross-train and undertake additional tasks - Operate general office equipment - Frequently use a keyboard for data entry - Remain in seated, standing, or walking positions for extended periods - Effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and electronically
