Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in applications support or a comparable combination of education and experience
- At least 3 years of experience with ERP, WMS, or MDM systems
- Familiarity with Oracle XStore is advantageous
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Proactive approach to tasks
- Eagerness to learn and adapt
- Capacity to engage in our online application and onboarding processes remotely
- Ability to complete required computer-based training
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles including functional and SIT
- Manage a repository of regression tests for assigned applications and define scenarios for automation
- Analyze defects to identify trends and opportunities for test cycle improvement
- Recognize areas suitable for automation in the testing process
- Oversee the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA phases
- Carry out test cases through both manual and automated methods, providing clear feedback on results to the development team
- Assist in deployment processes and perform post-production validation
- Work collaboratively with both internal and external teams to define requirements and acceptance criteria
- Drive continuous enhancements of testing methodologies and practices
- Guide and mentor junior members of the QA team
- Coordinate efforts with external development and testing teams
- Collaborate with end users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing
- Supervise the management of the Rural King QA/Dev environments, including versioning and data oversight
- Offer guidance and support to end users concerning application software
- Create functional documentation, including training material for users
- Provide technical support to internal clients
- Aid in training end users on software applications
- Offer technical assistance during the design, development, and testing phases of applications
- Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Evaluate enhancements for compatibility and adherence to guidelines
- Compile and present status updates to internal stakeholders
- Work with internal teams to develop test cases, identifying and resolving issues
- Provide on-call support as instructed by management
- May perform additional duties as needed
- Utilize general office equipment effectively
- Regularly use a keyboard for data entry
- Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods as required
- Communicate effectively in person and through electronic means
