Senior Software QA Analyst - Tuscola

- Develop, implement, and manage detailed test plans, scripts, and test cases for functional, system, integration, end-to-end, and other testing methodologies - Maintain a comprehensive repository of regression tests for designated application stacks, including defining scenarios for automation - Analyze defect trends to identify opportunities for enhancing test cycles - Spot areas where automation can be integrated into processes - Oversee the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA lifecycle - Perform test cases utilizing both manual methods and automated tools, interpreting outcomes and relaying feedback to the development team through well-documented defects - Take part in deployment processes and conduct post-production validation - Collaborate with various teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Champion ongoing improvements in testing methodologies and technologies - Mentor less experienced members of the QA team, offering training and support - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Work with end users to conduct User Acceptance Testing - Manage the Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including version control and data management - Provide end user support and guidance for application software - Create instructional documents such as training materials for users - Offer functional and technical assistance to internal clients - Aid in training users on software systems - Provide technical guidance during application design, development, and testing phases - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) - Evaluate and review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status updates to internal clients - Partner with internal teams to develop test cases, document issues, and resolve challenges - Provide on-call support as assigned by the manager - May need to cross-train and undertake various duties as necessary - Operate general office equipment as required - Regularly use a keyboard for data entry - Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods - Communicate effectively in person and using electronic devices
