Senior Software QA Analyst - Tolono

- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing phases - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks, including the definition of automation scenarios - Analyze defects to identify trends and improvement opportunities in testing cycles - Detect automation opportunities within testing processes - Facilitate execution of automated scripts throughout the QA process - Conduct test case execution using both manual and automated testing methods, interpret results, and communicate findings to the development team via clear defect reports - Engage in deployment and post-production validation activities - Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and establish acceptance criteria - Lead the continuous enhancement of testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor and provide training to junior QA team members - Coordinate efforts with external development and testing teams - Partner with end users during User Acceptance Testing execution - Manage QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code version and data oversight - Offer guidance and support to end users regarding application software - Create functional documents, such as training materials for end users - Provide functional and technical support to internal stakeholders - Assist with training end users on software systems - Deliver technical assistance during the design, development, and testing of applications - Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Evaluate and review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and present status updates to internal stakeholders - Collaborate closely with internal teams to formulate test cases and document and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as directed by management - May be tasked with cross-training and other duties as needed - Utilize general office equipment - Regularly operate a keyboard for data entry - Maintain desired posture for extended periods, including sitting/standing/walking - Communicate effectively with others, both in person and through electronic means
