Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in applications support
- At least 3 years of experience with ERP, WMS, and MDM systems
- Familiarity with Oracle XStore is advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes
- Capability to engage in remote onboarding and complete online training
- Ability to lift 15 pounds occasionally
- Comfort with extended periods of sitting or standing
- Proficient in using general office equipment and technology
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and uphold comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases across various testing cycles
- Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks, including automation scenarios
- Analyze defects to identify trends and enhance testing cycles
- Discover automation opportunities within the testing process
- Drive the implementation of automated scripts throughout the QA process
- Execute test cases, utilizing both manual and automated methods, and relay findings to the development team
- Participate in deployment and validate outcomes post-production
- Collaborate with both internal and external teams to clarify project requirements and acceptance criteria
- Lead the continuous enhancement of testing methodologies, processes, and technologies
- Mentor junior QA team members, providing support and training
- Coordinate with external development and testing teams
- Collaborate with end users during User Acceptance Testing execution
- Manage QA/Development environments, overseeing code versioning and data integrity
- Offer guidance and support to end users for application software
- Develop documentation such as training instructions for users
- Provide functional and technical support to internal stakeholders
- Conduct training sessions for users on software systems
- Assist in technical consultations when applications are designed, developed, and tested
- Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Review and analyze enhancements for compatibility and adherence to guidelines
- Prepare and share status reports with internal stakeholders
- Create test cases in collaboration with internal teams to identify, document, and resolve issues
- Provide on-call support as needed
- May cross-train and undertake additional responsibilities as required
- Operate general office equipment and effectively utilize a keyboard for data entry
- Engage in prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking as necessary
- Communicate clearly and effectively with others in person and through digital means
