Senior Software QA Analyst - Strasburg

- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing cycles - Manage a repository of regression tests and establish scenarios for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and improvement areas in testing cycles - Seek opportunities for automation within QA processes - Execute automated scripts across all QA levels - Conduct both manual and automated test case executions, interpreting results and communicating defects to the development team - Engage in deployment and validation after production - Collaborate with teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead initiatives for continuous enhancement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools - Mentor junior QA team members by providing training and support - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Partner with end users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Manage Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code versions and data - Offer user support and guidance for software applications - Create functional documentation such as training materials - Provide functional and technical support to internal stakeholders - Assist in training users on software applications - Deliver technical assistance during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to guidelines - Prepare and share status reports with internal customers - Work with internal teams to create test cases and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as instructed by the supervisor - Flexibility to cross-train and undertake additional responsibilities as needed - Utilize general office equipment efficiently - Frequently operate a keyboard to input data - Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods - Communicate effectively with others both in-person and via electronic means
