Senior Software QA Analyst - Sigel

- Plan and conduct functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure quality - Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles - Manage a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks, including automation scenario definitions - Assess defects to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing test cycles - Spot areas for potential automation within processes - Lead the execution of automated scripts across the QA process - Perform test cases using both manual and automated methods, interpreting results and reporting feedback clearly to the development team - Engage in deployment and post-production validations - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to refine requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive continuous improvements in testing processes, techniques, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members through training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Work alongside end users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Oversee management of Rural Kings application QA and Dev environments, including code versioning and data - Provide end user support and guidance for application software - Develop functional documentation like training manuals for end users - Offer functional and technical support to internal customers - Assist in training end users on software systems - Supply technical advice during the design, development, and testing of applications - Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Evaluate and review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operational standards - Prepare and present status reports to internal clients - Collaborate with internal teams to craft test cases and resolve identified issues - Provide on-call support as requested by management - May take on additional duties as needed - Operate general office equipment - Type and input information using a keyboard - Remain seated, standing, or walking for prolonged periods - Communicate effectively, both in-person and via electronic means
