Senior Software QA Analyst - Sidney

- Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles including functional and integration tests - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks, including defining scenarios for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing test cycles - Identify automation opportunities within testing processes - Drive the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA process - Execute test cases using both manual testing methods and automated suites, interpreting results and providing feedback to the development team through clear documentation of defects - Participate in deployment processes and validate post-production functionality - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead ongoing improvements in testing methodologies, processes, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members by providing training and support - Coordinate efforts with external development and testing teams - Work alongside end users during User Acceptance Testing execution - Manage Rural King application QA/Dev environments, ensuring proper code version and data management - Offer end-user guidance and support for application software - Create functional documents, including training instructions for end users - Provide both functional and technical assistance to internal stakeholders - Assist with training end users on software systems - Offer technical assistance during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to develop test cases, document issues, and resolve them - Provide on-call support as assigned by the manager - May require cross-training and performing additional duties as needed - Utilize general office equipment as required - Regularly operate a keyboard for information entry - Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods - Communicate effectively with others, both in-person and through electronic means
