Senior Software QA Analyst - Savoy

- Develop, implement, and sustain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles including functional, SIT, and end-to-end testing - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks, including scenario definitions for automation - Analyze defects to uncover trends and prospects for enhancing test cycles - Identify opportunities for automation within testing processes - Oversee the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA phase - Conduct test cases utilizing both manual testing and automated suites, interpret findings, and relay feedback to the development team through accurately documented defects - Engage in deployment and post-production validation activities - Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify testing requirements and acceptance criteria - Propel ongoing enhancements in testing processes, methods, and technologies - Provide mentorship to junior QA team members by delivering training and support - Coordinate with external developers and testing teams - Partner with end-users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code version and data oversight - Offer end-user assistance and support for application software - Create functional documentation such as training materials for end-users - Extend technical support to internal customers - Assist in training users on various software systems - Provide technical advice during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Participate throughout all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Examine and validate enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and present progress reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams for test case creation, issue documentation, and resolution - Provide on-call support as directed by management - May involve cross-training and undertaking additional duties - Utilize standard office equipment effectively - Frequently operate a keyboard for data entry - Remain in a seated, standing, or walking position for extended periods - Effectively communicate with others in person and through electronic devices
