Senior Software QA Analyst - Saint Elmo

- Create, implement, and uphold detailed test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing phases including functional and end-to-end testing - Maintain a repository of regression tests for application stacks, including identifying scenarios for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing testing cycles - Identify automation opportunities within testing processes - Drive the execution of automated testing scripts at all levels - Conduct testing using both manual and automated suites, interpreting results and providing clear feedback to the development team - Engage in deployment and post-production validations - Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead continuous improvements in testing methodologies and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members by offering training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Work alongside end users during User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments for the Rural King applications, including code versions and data - Provide end-user guidance and support for application software - Develop functional documents, such as training instructions for users - Assist internal customers with functional and technical inquiries - Conduct user training on software systems - Offer technical support during the design, development, and testing of applications - Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Analyze enhancements for compatibility and ensure compliance with operational guidelines - Prepare and present status updates to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with teams to create test cases, document and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as directed by management - May require cross-training and execution of other duties as needed - Operate standard office equipment as necessary - Use a keyboard for data entry regularly - Maintain a position of sitting, standing, or walking for extended durations - Communicate effectively with others in-person and electronically
