Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or a comparable mix of education and experience
- At least 3 years of expertise with ERP, WMS, and MDM systems
- Familiarity with Oracle XStore is an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication along with interpersonal skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
- Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
- Capability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding processes remotely
- Competence in completing computer-based training
- Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended periods
- Capacity to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
- Proficiency in effectively communicating verbally with others, both in-person and electronically
- Close visual acuity for tasks related to computers
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Manage the development and testing environments at Rural King
- Ensure the integrity and availability of all data and applications within our information systems
- Collaborate with both internal and external groups to confirm comprehensive testing is achieved
- Design, implement, and sustain detailed test plans, scripts, and test cases across various testing cycles
- Keep a repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks and define scenarios for automation
- Analyze defects for trends and areas for improvement in test cycles
- Identify automation opportunities within processes
- Lead the execution of automated scripts at all QA process levels
- Execute test cases using both manual methods and automation suites, interpret results, and provide clear feedback to development teams through documented defects
- Engage in deployment and post-production validation
- Work with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
- Spearhead continuous enhancements of testing methodologies, processes, and technologies
- Mentor junior members of the QA team, offering training and guidance
- Coordinate with external development and testing teams
- Collaborate with end users for User Acceptance Testing execution
- Manage the Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code version control and data management
- Provide support and guidance to end users for application software
- Create functional documentation such as training instructions for end users
- Offer functional and technical support to internal customers
- Assist in training end users on software systems
- Provide technical assistance during the design, development, and testing phases of applications
- Take part in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Evaluate and review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operational guidelines
- Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to formulate test cases, document problems, and resolve issues
- Provide on-call support as designated by the manager
- Be open to cross-training and fulfilling additional duties as needed
- Operate general office equipment as required
