Senior Software QA Analyst - Pesotum

- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles - Curate a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks, including defining scenarios for automation - Review and analyze defects to identify trends and potential improvements in test processes - Seek opportunities for process automation - Execute automated test scripts across all phases of the QA process - Perform both manual testing and automated suite executions, providing feedback to the development team via well-documented defects - Participate in system deployment and validation phases after production - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to define requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive continuous enhancements in testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members, providing them with training and direction - Coordinate with outside development and testing teams - Work closely with end users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code versioning and data management - Offer support and guidance to end users for application software - Develop functional documentation, including training materials for end users - Provide both functional and technical support to internal clientele - Assist in training end users on various software systems - Offer technical assistance during application design, development, and testing phases - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Assess and review enhancements for their compatibility and compliance with operating standards - Prepare and deliver status updates to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to devise test cases, document, and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as required by the management - May perform additional duties as needed and participate in cross-training initiatives - Utilize standard office equipment and frequently operate a keyboard for data entry - Maintain a seated, standing, or walking position for extended periods - Effectively communicate verbally with others through various means, both in person and electronically
