Senior Software QA Analyst - Newman

- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles - Keep a repository of regression tests for assigned applications, including defining automation scenarios - Analyze defects for trends and possible improvements in test cycles - Identify opportunities for automation within processes - Drive the execution of automated testing scripts across all QA levels - Conduct tests using both manual and automated methods, providing clear feedback to developers through documented defects - Participate in deployment processes and conduct post-production validation - Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure clarity in requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead the continuous enhancement of testing methods, processes, and technologies - Provide mentorship to junior QA team members, offering training and support - Coordinate with external development and testing teams as needed - Partner with end-users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code versioning and data oversight - Offer guidance and support to end-users regarding application software - Draft functional documents, such as user training guides - Assist with user training on software systems - Provide technical support during software design, development, and testing phases - Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Evaluate and review enhancements for compliance and alignment with operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Work alongside internal teams to create test cases and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as directed by management - May need to cross-train and take on additional responsibilities - Operate general office equipment efficiently - Frequently use a keyboard to input information - Maintain a sitting, standing, or walking position for extended durations - Communicate effectively with others in person and through electronic devices
