Senior Software QA Analyst - Neoga

- Develop, implement, and sustain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing cycles, including functional and end-to-end testing - Keep an updated repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks, including defining automation scenarios - Investigate defects to identify trends and areas for improving testing cycles - Recognize opportunities for process automation - Facilitate the execution of automated scripts across all stages of the QA process - Perform testing using both manual methods and automated suites, analyze outcomes, and communicate feedback to the development team through detailed defect reports - Engage in deployment and post-production validation processes - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to clarify specifications and acceptance criteria - Champion continuous enhancements to testing methodologies, processes, and technologies - Guide and mentor junior QA team members, offering training and support - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Work with end-users during User Acceptance Testing - Oversee the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, managing code versions and data - Provide guidance and support to end users for application software - Compose functional documentation, including training instructions for users - Offer functional and technical support to internal clientele - Assist in training end users on software systems - Provide technical aid during application design, development, and testing phases - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Evaluate enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal customers - Collaborate with internal teams to generate test cases and document and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as needed by the manager - May need to cross-train and undertake additional duties - Operate general office equipment - Frequently use a keyboard for information entry - Remain seated, standing, or walking for prolonged periods - Effectively communicate verbally with others, whether in-person or via electronic means
