Senior Software QA Analyst - Murdock

- Design, execute, and uphold comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing cycles - Maintain a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks, including defining automation scenarios - Assess defects for trends and areas for improving testing cycles - Identify opportunities for automation within the testing process - Drive the execution of automated scripts across all QA process levels - Conduct test cases using both manual methods and automated suites, analyzing results and providing feedback to development teams through well-documented defects - Participate in deployment and post-production validation activities - Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead continuous improvements in testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members through training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end-users for User Acceptance Testing execution - Manage Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code versions and data - Provide end-user support and guidance for application software - Develop functional documents such as user training instructions - Offer functional and technical assistance to internal customers - Conduct user training on software systems - Provide technical support during application design, development, and testing - Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and compliance with operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Work with internal teams to create test cases and document and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as assigned by the manager - May be required to cross-train and perform additional duties as needed - Operate general office equipment as needed - Frequently use a keyboard for data entry - Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods - Communicate effectively with others in person and electronically
