Senior Software QA Analyst - Mt Zion

- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases across various testing cycles - Manage a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks, including defining scenarios for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and areas for improvement in testing cycles - Explore opportunities for automation within existing processes - Drive the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA workflow - Conduct test cases utilizing both manual testing and automated suites, interpreting outcomes and providing feedback to the development team with well-documented defects - Participate in deployment and follow up with validation after production release - Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Champion continuous enhancement of testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA staff, offering training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Partner with end users for conducting User Acceptance Testing - Oversee the Rural King application QA/Dev environments including code version control and data management - Offer guidance and support to end users on application software - Develop functional documentation such as training manuals for users - Provide both functional and technical assistance to internal stakeholders - Aid in training end users on software systems - Provide technical support during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and compliance with operational guidelines - Prepare and present status reports to internal customers - Collaborate with internal teams to develop test cases, identify, document, and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as instructed by management - Potentially cross-train and undertake additional responsibilities as needed - Utilize general office equipment as necessary - Frequently operate a keyboard for data entry - Maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations - Effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and electronically.
