Senior Software QA Analyst - Metcalf

- Develop, implement, and sustain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing phases - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned applications, including scenario definitions for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing test cycles - Recognize opportunities for automating processes - Lead the execution of automated scripts throughout all stages of the QA process - Conduct test cases leveraging both manual testing and automation, interpret results, and provide constructive feedback to the development team - Participate in deployment and validate post-production processes - Collaborate with teams, both internal and external, to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Spearhead ongoing improvements in testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members by providing training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Partner with end users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Manage Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code versioning and data management - Offer user guidance and support for application software - Draft functional documents like training materials for end users - Assist internal customers with functional and technical inquiries - Train end users on software systems - Provide technical assistance during application design, development, and testing phases - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Evaluate enhancements for compatibility and compliance with operational guidelines - Prepare and present status updates to internal stakeholders - Work collaboratively with internal teams to create test cases and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as assigned by management - May be required to perform additional duties as needed - Operate general office equipment and frequently use a keyboard for data entry - Sustain seated or standing positions for extended periods - Effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and through electronic means
