Senior Software QA Analyst - Mattoon

- Plan and execute functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing - Manage the Dev/Test environments within Rural King - Oversee practices and procedures to maintain data integrity and availability - Collaborate with both internal and external groups to ensure thorough testing - Develop, implement, and uphold detailed test plans, scripts, and test cases - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned applications, including defining scenarios for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing test cycles - Determine areas where automation can be implemented in the processes - Drive the execution of automated testing scripts across QA processes - Conduct testing using manual and automated methods, interpret results, and provide constructive feedback to the development team - Engage in deployment activities and perform post-production validation - Work closely with teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead ongoing improvements in testing processes and methodologies - Mentor junior QA team members through training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end users for User Acceptance Testing - Manage QA/Dev environments, including code version control and data management - Offer end-user support and guidance for application software - Generate functional documentation such as training materials for users - Provide functional and technical assistance to internal clients - Assist in training users on software systems - Provide technical consultation during application design, development, and testing phases - Involve in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and ensure they comply with operational guidelines - Create and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to develop test cases and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as directed by management - May require cross-training and performing additional duties as assigned - Utilize general office equipment and frequently operate a keyboard - Maintain a seated or standing position for extended periods - Communicate effectively with others both in person and via electronic devices
