Senior Software QA Analyst - Macon

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test cases for functional, system integration, end-to-end, and other testing cycles - Keep a repository of regression tests for assigned applications, including scenario definition for automation - Investigate defects to identify trends and suggest improvements to test cycles - Identify opportunities for automation within the testing processes - Oversee the execution of automated testing scripts across all levels of the QA process - Conduct test case execution, utilizing both manual and automated testing approaches while interpreting results and providing feedback to the development team through clearly documented defects - Engage in deployment procedures and post-production validation - Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure clarity on requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead ongoing enhancements of testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members by offering training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end users during User Acceptance Testing - Manage Rural King application QA/Development environments, including code versioning and data management - Offer end-user guidance and support for application software - Create functional documentation such as training manuals for end users - Provide functional and technical assistance to internal stakeholders - Assist in training end users on software systems - Offer technical support during application design, development, and testing phases - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Evaluate and review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Work with internal teams to create test cases, document issues, and resolve challenges - Provide on-call support as assigned by management - May be required to cross-train and undertake additional duties - Utilize general office equipment as needed - Frequently enter information using a keyboard - Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time - Communicate effectively with others both in-person and via electronic means.
