Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years in applications support
- At least 3 years of experience with ERP, WMS, MDM
- Familiarity with Oracle XStore is advantageous
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- Proficient problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
- Capability to engage in the online applicant and onboarding process
- Competence in completing computer-based training
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles
- Maintain a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks, including automation scenarios
- Analyze defect trends and identify opportunities to enhance testing cycles
- Recognize automation possibilities within processes
- Propel the execution of automation scripts throughout the QA process
- Conduct test cases using both manual and automated methods, interpreting results and communicating defects effectively to the development team
- Involve in deployment and validate post-production activities
- Work collaboratively with both internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance benchmarks
- Lead ongoing enhancements of testing methodologies and technologies
- Mentor junior QA team members, providing training as necessary
- Coordinate efforts with external development and testing teams
- Collaborate with end users during User Acceptance Testing
- Manage Rural Kings application QA/Dev environments, including code versioning and data management
- Offer end user support for application software
- Create functional documentation like training guides for users
- Deliver functional and technical assistance to internal stakeholders
- Facilitate training sessions for end users on software systems
- Provide technical support during the design, development, and testing phases of applications
- Engage in all stages of the SDLC
- Assess enhancements for compatibility while ensuring adherence to operating protocols
- Prepare and deliver status updates to internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal teams to formulate test cases, document findings, and resolve issues
- Provide on-call support at the managers discretion
- May require cross-training and performing other roles as needed
- Operate general office equipment proficiently
- Utilize keyboard frequently for data entry
- Sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods
- Communicate effectively with others in various formats
