Senior Software QA Analyst - Humboldt

- Design, implement, and uphold detailed test plans, scripts, and cases for functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned applications, including defining scenarios for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and areas for enhancement in test cycles - Spot opportunities for automation within processes - Drive the execution of automated scripts at various stages of the QA process - Perform testing through both manual methods and automated suites, interpreting results and providing precise feedback to the development team - Participate in deployment and validate post-production processes - Collaborate with teams internally and externally to clarify testing requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead the ongoing enhancement of testing processes and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members by providing training and support - Coordinate efforts with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end users for conducting User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including version control and data management - Provide guidance and assistance to end users on application software - Create functional documents, including training instructions for end users - Offer functional and technical support to internal customers - Assist with end-user training on software systems - Provide technical assistance during application design, development, and testing phases - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) - Analyze and review enhancements for compatibility with operating guidelines - Prepare and share status reports with internal stakeholders - Work with internal teams to develop test cases, identify, document, and resolve issues - Offer on-call support as required by management - May require cross-training and fulfillment of additional duties - Utilize general office equipment - Regularly operate a keyboard for data entry - Maintain a seated, standing, or walking position for extended periods - Effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and electronically
