Senior Software QA Analyst - Hindsboro

- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles including functional and end-to-end tests - Manage a repository of regression tests for assigned applications, defining automation scenarios - Analyze defects for trends and identify opportunities for enhancing test cycles - Recognize potential areas for automation within existing processes - Oversee the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA process - Implement test cases through manual and automated testing, interpret results, and provide constructive feedback to the development team - Participate in deployments and validate post-production outcomes - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead efforts to continuously improve testing methodologies and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members, providing training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end users for the execution of User Acceptance Testing - Manage QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code versioning and data handling - Offer end-user support and guidance for application software - Produce functional documentation, including training manuals for end users - Provide technical and functional support to internal customers - Assist in training end users on software systems - Offer technical support during the design, development, and testing of applications - Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Analyze enhancement proposals for compatibility and compliance with operational guidelines - Prepare and present status reports to internal stakeholders - Work with internal teams to create test cases, document issues, and resolve them - Provide on-call support as required by management - May be asked to cross-train and undertake additional responsibilities - Utilize general office equipment as needed - Frequently operate a keyboard to input information - Maintain the ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods - Communicate effectively with individuals in-person and via electronic devices
