Senior Software QA Analyst - Hidalgo

- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing cycles including functional and integration testing - Manage a repository of regression tests specifically for assigned application stacks, defining scenarios for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing test cycles - Discover areas where automation can be integrated into the processes - Oversee the execution of automated scripts across all QA levels - Perform test cases utilizing both manual and automated methods, interpret results, and relay feedback to the development team through clear documentation of defects - Engage in deployment and perform post-production validation - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive continuous enhancement of testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members by providing training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Work alongside end users during User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments within the Rural King applications, including code versions and data - Offer guidance and support to end users regarding application software - Develop functional documents such as training guides for users - Provide both functional and technical assistance to internal clients - Assist in training users on software systems - Deliver technical support during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and ensure adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and present status updates to internal stakeholders - Work with internal teams to develop test cases, document, and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as necessary and directed by the manager - May be required to cross-train and undertake additional duties as needed - Utilize general office equipment appropriately - Frequently operate keyboard for data entry - Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods while maintaining effective communication with others both in person and through electronic devices
