Senior Software QA Analyst - Findlay

- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles - Keep a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks, including automation scenarios - Analyze defects to identify trends and areas for enhancing test cycles - Seek opportunities for automation within testing processes - Lead the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA process - Perform test cases utilizing both manual and automated methods, interpreting results and communicating feedback to the development team - Engage in deployment and validation following production - Collaborate with teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies - Mentor junior QA team members with training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end users for User Acceptance Testing activities - Manage the Rural King application QA/Dev environments, overseeing code versions and data integrity - Assist end users with application software guidance and support - Create training documents for users - Provide technical support to internal customers - Conduct software training sessions for end users - Offer technical assistance during the design, development, and testing of applications - Participate in all SDLC phases - Review enhancements for compatibility and compliance with operational standards - Prepare and present status updates to internal stakeholders - Work with internal teams to develop test cases and resolve issues - Offer on-call support as requested by management - May need to cross-train and undertake other responsibilities - Utilize standard office equipment effectively - Operate a keyboard for data entry - Maintain sitting/standing/walking posture for prolonged periods - Communicate effectively with others in-person and via electronic means
